For the first time in 40 years, U.S. oil production is increasing…

And yet, nobody – not even our President – has noticed.

Despite the massive shale boom happening right now in geologic basins across the United States, our government has repeatedly stated its desire for more foreign oil. And the cold, hard truth of the U.S. oil industry is that things are still falling apart.

What most Americans don’t realize is our three largest oil-producing states are struggling to hold off a production crash. It’s no secret that peak oil has taken hold of California, Alaska and Texas.

It’s called the Williston Basin.

Investors know it better as the Bakken formation, except companies are only now scratching the surface of the Williston Basin’s true potential… one that could propel North Dakota past both Alaska and California in oil production.
